In order to promote the identification and classification of chemicals in China, further improve the level of chemical safety management in China, and promote the safe and healthy development of related industries, the Chemical Registration Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management held an online live broadcast on April 25, 2022 to exchange regulations on chemical hazard identification and classification.

This exchange meeting was chaired by Huang Fei, a member of the Chemical Registration Center of the Emergency Management Department. The content of the exchange included the historical background, regulatory requirements, basic concepts, scope, application of results, and processes of identification and classification, which played a positive role in improving the level of chemical safety management.

During the Q&A session, the attendees interacted and exchanged ideas with the lecturer on practical issues related to chemical hazard identification and classification in their daily work, and received satisfactory responses.
